Municipal water and wastewater utilities are traditionally the main consumers of pumps and other equipment related to water supply and wastewater treatment. They consume a broad range of different types of pumps. Clients in many other industries, including power generation, metals and mining, and agriculture also consume huge volumes of water and act as large users of water pumps.
